People also noted how Zack Snyder’s cut The Justice League is a shocking four hours and two minutes long, but it never made it to theaters, according to IGN, so that doesn’t really matter.

The Batman, slated for release in March, exceeds The dark knight rises, which clocked in at two hours and 44 minutes.

The payment before that, The black Knight, wasn’t too close behind at two hours and 32 minutes.

The majority of films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are over two hours long, with the exception of The ant Man and strange doctor, so it’s impressive to see The Batman really take his time with his story.

Since we’re getting a new Batman, Catwoman, Penguin, and The Riddler, we’re going to have to make sure there’s enough space for each character to breathe and have their origins told.
