Addicted to books: summer is the time to read

Now that we are in the middle of summer, many parents may be struggling to entertain and occupy their children. Summer leaves plenty of extra time for family fun and learning through movies, books and spending time together, but if you’re a parent who’s also trying to keep your child learning everything in the summer, reading faith-based books could be a win-win for the family.

Instead of a summer of TV and video games, challenge yourself and your child to read every day. There are tons of age-appropriate books out there that will keep you and your child entertained, engaged, and educated about Christian beliefs and faith.
